We’re delighted to share the impact of our work in 2023 – a year of opportunities and challenges that saw us cement our role as the go-to authority for growth for UK manufacturers.

Amid an energy crisis, continued impacts of Brexit, labour shortages and escalating costs – we’ve championed the sector’s central role in creating good quality jobs, transitioning to net zero, and producing goods and services to keep the economy moving. And the evidence of our impact is clear.

Whether that be us securing a £4.5bn boost for clean growth in the sector in the Autumn Statement – with two despatch-box shoutouts for Make UK from the Chancellor – or launching our call for Industrial Strategy, and 34 other policy papers, informed by the insight of the approx. 60 surveys, 400 high-level engagements and 50 advisory boards that we conducted over the past year.
